Glen Wakeman has established himself as an entrepreneur and as someone with an impressive track record in establishing businesses and providing leadership skills (http://alivenewspaper.com/2017/12/miami-resident-glen-wakeman/). When he is not taking names and growing his company, he also prides himself in the ability to act as a mentor to other up-and-coming entrepreneurs. Glen has some suggestions that many young business leaders should strongly consider.
First of all, Glen Wakeman wants to encourage all of the young entrepreneurs to freely engage in mentor relationships with older entrepreneurs. He does, however, have one caveat: he believes they should make sure it is a give-and-take relationship. That is, the mentees should work hard with their mentors to cultivate a lasting relationship so it will continue to thrive.
Secondly, Glen believes that ideas on their own are fruitless unless there is a plan to back it up and capital in order to help it come to fruition. This is one of the main reasons he established Launchpad Holdings, LLC. He has been the CEO of this new company since 2015, and it exists solely to provide structure and a “spark” for a burgeoning idea. Launchpad Holdings does this by providing a host of unique software solutions for young entrepreneurs to test out their ideas.
Glen also believes that utilizing gratitude can be a powerful thing when one is cultivating relationships with clients. Although he, too, believes in the utilization of text messages in order to show your thanks, he also believes that a good old fashioned card or handwritten note can go “above and beyond the call of duty” in this day and age. The reason is simple: our society is flooded with electronics, and companies need to find a way to stand out against the pack. They can do this by doing things in a different manner. There is no question that Glen has much to share with others and he will continue to do so. More and more people are realizing just how much this man can help them remain head and shoulders above the pack.
