Some lawyers end up falling through the cracks and never become that successful but the same cannot be said for Francisco Domenech, Esquire. A twice graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Pedras, this 40-year-old legal scholar now serves as the Managing Partner of Politank. It’s a government affairs law firm that specializes in the private representation of interests before governmental forums and how best to carry out that concept. Born in San Juan, he previously served as the Director of the Office of Legislative Services of the legislative assembly of Puerto Rico from 2005 to 2008. During such time, he oversaw the management of 130 employees, enabled them to offer more services, partook in the decision-making process of over 800 different legislative pieces and turned a surplus in every single fiscal year he served. While at the University of Puerto Rico, he obtained both a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor Degree. He also served as president of the student council during his senior year of college. During such time, he also served as an academic senator in the student government senate. During his junior year, he served as the student body president of the university’s college of social sciences. While studying to become a lawyer, he also matriculated at University College London where he studied comparative law.
From 2007 to 2012, he served as a loyal member of the Democratic National Committee which provided him with the opportunity to provide representation for the future Democratic leaders of America. He also had the distinct honor to serve as a delegate at four different Democratic National Conventions. During Hillary Clinton’s run for office in 2008, he served as her deputy campaign manager in Puerto Rico where she managed the impressive feat of scoring a significant margin of victory over her Democratic opponent, Barack Obama. He also went on to serve as her primary campaign manager when she ran again eight years later and, once again, she scored a significant margin of victory over her opponent, Bernie Sanders. So it seems he has a bright future ahead of him. Learn more: https://www.slideshare.net/francisco_domenech
