WWE legend John Cena is set to make his long-awaited return to the UK next month as part of his farewell tour from the sport.
In July last year, Cena, who is arguably the greatest-ever WWE superstar, shocked the world as he confirmed he would retire from wrestling in 2025.
Fans across Europe were left concerned that they might not get an opportunity to see Cena inside the ring again, however, their calls have been answered.
The WWE confirmed that Cena - a 16-time World Champion - will feature at three events in Europe next month during the Road to WrestleMania tour.
Cena will be at the Forest National arena in Brussels on March 17th, the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on March 24th and, finally, the O2 Arena in London on March 31st.
It will be Cena's first time on British soil since he made a surprise appearance at Money In The Bank in London back in 2023.
However, now fans can catch one final glimpse of the legendary star during the tour - alongside icons such as Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley.
Cena, 47, previously confirmed that his last wrestling match will take place at some point in December 2025.
Speaking to Collider, he revealed plans for a retirement tour that would consist of an estimated 36 dates.
The former WWE champion said: 'I can probably confirm that Peacemaker will take us to the end of 2024, and I can say that with the utmost conviction because I have given the calendar year 2025 to WWE. I am retiring in 2025, and I start that farewell tour in January.
'I'll end it in December, and it's going to be right around 36 dates around the world to pay thanks and gratitude to the WWE audiences around the world. So that's what I'm doing in 2025.'
Cena is one of wrestling's most iconic faces, joining WWE in 2001 and appearing in the company's biggest events before performing on a more part-time basis from 2018.
He won his first world championship in 2005 before making a face turn to a more heroic character. He is also a five-time WWE United States Champion and has clinched Royal Rumble glory twice, first coming out on top during his peak in 2008.
Five years later, he won it again to set up a crunch match with rival The Rock, which he won to secure his 11th WWE Championship title.
