NITURA SUPERB IN UAAP SENIORS DEBUT, LEADS ADAMSON IN EPIC COMEBACK AGAINST ATENEO

MANILA, Philippines — Shai Nitura just served notice in the collegiate volleyball scene right in her very first game.

Nitura unloaded a rookie record 33 points to lead the Adamson Lady Falcons in an epic come-from-behind 21-25, 20-25, 25-12, 25-15, 15-12 win over the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday.

The outside hitter banged 28 of her total through attacks including eight in the deciding set as Adamson came from two sets down and outlasted Ateneo in the fifth for the win.

Nitura also logged seven excellent receptions and five digs in all-around effort.
