Raymond Basilio scored the winning basket as Electron College of Technical Education pulled off a nail-biting 86-85 victory against powerhouse Enderun Colleges in the elimination round of the National Universities and Colleges Athletic Association (NUCAA) on Friday, March 17, at the Titans Homecourt Gym of Enderun Colleges in Taguig City.

With six seconds remaining in the game and Enderun ahead by one, Basilio stole the ball and converted the game winner to the dismay of the home crowd.

The Warriors of team owners Engr. Dennis Solis and Dra. Lea Solis used their speed to upset the taller and heftier Titans.

This is the first win in the fledgling tournament for the Jhay Ocampo-coached Electron College after losing back-to-back against Philippine College of Criminology and San Pedro College of Business Administration.

Edu Matamis led all scorers with 19 points for Electron College.

Donyel Udal and Jalen Garcia, meanwhile, combined for 24 points for Enderun Colleges, which dropped to 1-1 in the win-loss column.
