Jason Hope And The Sens Foundation Partner Up For Age-Defying Medical Research.

The world of technology is always moving and this is no less true in entertainment as it is in medicine. Jason Hope is a world renown futurist and entrepreneur who has spent the better part of the past decade working to building up a real footprint in the tech world. Hope is probably most well known for his work in the field of mobile communications but the Scottsdale native is working to change that perception. Hope has recently become incredibly involved in the field of biotechnology and his work with the SENS Foundation, a 501c3 research facility in San Francisco, could have long-lasting implications in the medical world.

Jason Hope has made his mark as a futurist, so you know that when he takes an interest in a technology that it is probably worth keeping an eye on the subject. Hope has always believed that age-related illnesses don’t have to be a determined part of our future. In fact, Hope believes that eventually, scientists will unlock the ability to stave off these problems entirely. In the meantime, Jason Hope wants to invest in foundations that are looking to make age-related diseases a thing of the past. After extensive research and connecting with Dr. Aubrey De Grey, the CSO at the SENS Foundation, Hope decided to put his money where is mouth was. Hope signed off on a half-million-dollar donation to the SENS Foundation in order to jumpstart research facilities and the rest, largely, has been history.

The SENS Foundation is based in Mountain View, CA and it constantly active with various medical research projects. The SENS Foundation is a departure from most facilities of a similar build due to the electricity and financial stability that Dr. Aubrey De Grey brings to the table. Dr. De Grey was born and raised in London before he went on to graduate from Cambridge University. Dr. De Grey would study age-related disease and eventually begin working at the SENS Foundation. Over the years. Dr. De Grey has put in nearly $10 million of his own money toward keeping the operation afloat.

Jason Hope’s $500,000 donation will be put to a specific use at the SENS Foundation. Dr. De Grey wants to use the money in order to research how to prevent our arteries from hardening as we age. When arteries harden, high blood pressure is triggered. With any luck, Hope and Dr. De Grey will have some serious success.
