SEA GAMES 2025: GIAN SANTOS WINS 200M INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY SILVER

MANILA, Philippines — Gian Christopher Santos earned a silver medal in the men’s 200m individual medley in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 2025) swimming on Wednesday in Bangkok, Thailand.

Santos clocked 2:03.88 to finish second, narrowly missing the gold after Hung Nguyen Tran of Vietnam won the event with 2:02.11.

Vietnam’s Quang Thuan Nguyen won the bronze with a time of 2:04.19. 

In women’s 200m butterfly, Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh only finished fifth, clocking 2:18.01, while Kyla Louise Bulaga placed last with 2:23.05.

In the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia, the Philippine swimming team bagged two gold, six silver, and eight bronze medals.
