UAAP: CASIEY DONGALLO HAS TRIUMPHANT UP DEBUT VS EX-TEAM UE

MANILA, Philippines — Casiey Dongallo debuted in style for University of the Philippines, haunting her former team University of the East, 25-12, 25-9, 21-25, 25-19, in the UAAP Season 88 women’s volleyball tournament on Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

Dongallo, coming off a year of residency after taking her talents to Diliman following a sensational rookie season with UE, dropped 13 points in her UAAP comeback.

However, the young outside spiker went to the dugout late in the third, where UE got its act together, as Bea Zamudio and Van Bangayan dragged the game to a fourth set.

UE has now lost 15 straight games dating back to its winless campaign last year.

Bangayan carried the Lady Red Warriors with 19 points.
