LADY BULLDOGS REPEAT ON LADY SPIKERS, STAY UNDEFEATED

MANILA, Philippines — The defending champs NU Lady Bulldogs scored a repeat win over the De La Salle Lady Spikers, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 25-18, at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday to stay unscathed in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament.

Reigning MVP Bella Belen pumped 23 points and logged 17 receptions and seven digs for the league-leading Lady Bulldogs, who improved to 8-0 and stopped the Lady Spikers' 4-win run.

Alyssa Solomon banged 19 points and Vange Alinsug racked up 11 markers and 13 digs for NU.

Angel Canino poured 15 points and 21 receptions for La Salle which dropped to 5-3, tied with UST and FEU.
