"As I sit here and write this I think about my life and I am forever thankful for what Ateneo has done for me," Amos began his lengthy post where he expressed gratitude to his teammates, coaches, and professors at Ateneo.

"To the Ateneo community, I am grateful for the opportunities you have given me. I am grateful for the memories I have been able to create and cherish. I am grateful to all the great people I have met during my time," said Amos in a lengthy post.

"I will forever be proud to have represented the school and thankful. I love you Ateneo. It may be a goodbye but You will always have a place in my heart."

The 19-year-old Amos registered 8.87 points and 3.4 rebounds last year as he helped the rebuilding Ateneo reach the Final Four.

Amos will redshirt for one year and will be eligible to play for La Salle come Season 88 next year.

The versatile forward is part of the Gilas Pilipinas lineup which will compete at the FIBA Olympic Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Latvia slated from July 2 to 7.
