JANTI MILLER SET TO BE SUSPENDED FOR GAME 2 AFTER EJECTION

IF San Beda is to clinch title no. 24 this Saturday against Letran, the Red Lions will have to do it without super-scorer Janti Miller

Miller got ejected early in the fourth quarter after getting two technical fouls, the first one resulting in his ejection at the 6:16 mark of the payoff period.

He finished with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Because he got ejected, the Fil-American hotshot will be missing Game 2 of the NCAA Season 101 men’s basketball tournament set on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

NCAA commissioner Rico Quicho confirmed to reporters that Miller will be missing the second game, as two technical fouls aren’t really reviewable as per league rules.

Still coach Yuri Escueta shared that they will be talking to their Management Committee representative Jonas Cabochan for a possible appeal.

"We have to be ready kung andyan siya o wala siya. Of course we'll talk to our man comm, cause dalawang flopping yun. There's a reason why he was doign that. He's getting hit the whole game," Escuata said.

"Sabi ko nga if the referees don't call it, play on. We have to be better, whatever we can control, control. Stop flopping next time. Absorb hits next time. We have to be ready, kung andyan siya o wala siya maghahanda kami."
