KAI DOMINATES IN BLEAGUE V-DAY GAME, KQ SHINES IN KBL

KAI Sotto showcased his sweet moves on Valentine’s Day, dominating for the Koshigaya Alphas' in its 93-75 win over the Sun Rockers Shibuya in the Japan B.League

Sotto finished with 15 points, 15 rebounds and two assists for good measure to help the Alphas bounce back from their loss to the Sendai 89ers last week and improve to 15-23. 

The 7'3 beanpole showed no signs of rust as he continues to work his way back after missing nearly a year because of an ACL injury. 

In other games, Kiefer Ravena scored 21 points, seven assists, one rebound, and a steal as he paced the Yokohama B-Corsairs to a thrilling 86–85 escape over Francis Lopez and the Nagoya Fighting Eagles.

Lopez finished six points and four rebounds in 17 minutes of action as Yokohama improved to 14–24, while Nagoya dropped to a 15–23 slate

Gilas Pilipinas guard Dwight Ramos provided quality minutes for Levanga Hokkaido with 10 points, six rebounds, and six assists in their close 101–98 escape over the Toyama Grouses.

Ray Parks, meanwhile, was one of the few bright spots in Osaka Evessa’s 71–64 loss to Kyoto Hannaryz with 12 points, three rebounds, and two assists.

The Gilas big man tandem of AJ Edu and Quentin Millora-Brown also suffered setbacks with Edu's Gunma Crane Thunders  dropping 97–80 setback to Nagasaki, as QMB's Chiba Jets fell to San-En NeoPhonenix 92-81.

Edu finished with six points, eight rebounds and two assists while QMB finished with two points, two assists and a board. 

KQ gets better of Jake in KBL

Over in the Korean Basketball League, Kevin Quiambao recovered from a poor outing in his last game, towing Goyang Sono to an 87–76 win over Jake Figueroa’s Hyundai Mobis Phoebus.

Quiambao chipped in 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, while Figueroa was Mr. Quality minutes with 12 points in just eight minutes of play.

Carl Tamayo and LG Sakers solidified their spot on top of the standings at 29–12 after an 80–58 blowout win over Wonju DB.

Tamayo registered 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists, while Ethan Albano paced Wonju with 10 points, five assists, and four rebounds.

KCC Egis also conquered Daegu KoGas, 88–76, as William Navarro went scoreless in limited minutes for Egis, while SJ Belangel listed 10 points, six assists, and two rebounds for Daegu.
